| Are you a good person? |
It is always a good thing to know the Will of God concerning His blessings and the abundant life Jesus came to provide. Jesus said in John 10:10 "I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly"! NKJV The first thing we must know, is that these blessings are not going to just fall on us. Just because something is the Will of God doesn't mean it's automatically going to happen. We have to understand that there is a giving and a receiving side to the blessings of God. God has given certain things to us, but it's up to each one of us to learn how to receive or appropriate everything He has for us. Many times they don't come right away. We may have to stand our ground in faith. We may even have to stand our ground for awhile or a period of time. But, if we stand full of faith and have confidence in God's promises to us ... we can be assured that we will not be denied. We will always come out victorious! Hallelujah! The second thing we must know, there are two areas in our lives that we need to develop. In developing these areas we will assuredly succeed and obtain everything God has for us. They are perseverance and patience. World class athletes will tell you everything they have obtained came through a time of perseverance and patience. To receive from God what He has promised we must continue in faith. If you will stay faithful in the hard places, no matter the circumstance, the sickness, disease, financial problem, what ever it may be if you stick with God you will WIN! So, hold on to God and His Word throughout this new year and enter into your own promise land! The place of victory in Christ! God Bless and walk with Him! Pastor Bob |
